Chapter Boruto Manga Hiatus Agony (Returning on: August 20th 10am EST / 3pm UTC - Official Link in OP)


I ain't going to lie I pray for this level of peak action for the series but its only possible if kishi takes over the series again I pray that happens:hailpepe

Boruto has had much better fights imo. I just prefer choreography over flashiness.

What the Boruto anime really needs is consistency in both writing and animation. If part 2 can't deliver that then it shouldn't bother coming back.:catsleep
 
Boruto will likely come to possess shinjutsu that sets him apart in the future.

Even when looking at the Kāma/Ōtsutsuki abilities that have been used by BoruShiki or awakened by Boruto in general — Byakugan vision, levitation, portal creation, absorption, and healing factor — we can see that those are generic powers, which even Kawaki possesses (aside from Byakugan vision) or will come to possess in case of levitation.

Boruto's ninjutsu repertoire on the other hand is matched by Kawaki's nanomachines + ninjutsu.

I think it's somewhat impressive that BoruShiki kept up with Kawaki despite the latter having shinjutsu on top of generic Ōtsutsuki abilities (although Kawaki couldn't yet levitate at the time [and still can't], and he didn't have a single feat of creating a portal on his own at the time).

Because of that, Boruto's own shinjutsu will likely place him as ≥ Kawaki, depending on their utility and versatility.

Choreography & strategy was always the crux of OG Naruto.
The anime still serves it (when the budget is there) despite the DBZ kicks harder illustrator not giving them much to work with.
 
If next chapter begins with the time-skip, I want to see it begin with Boruto having a sparring session with Sasuke.

Base vs Base, and I want to see Boruto being comparable to Sasuke.

Nope, but lastest volume covers until Chapter 80.

Doubt we;re going into time skip next chapter now since there is no announcement it can still be announced I guess, but probably 3 more chapter and 1 chapter of Minato one shot in the next volume then we enter time skip. :riku
