This is a new shounen/seinen manga by MORIO Masahiro (It would appear this is his first manga).


It is serialized in young sunday, and I believe it is weekly.


Spoiler: Quick Summary
This is the story of Nanase Iruke. She's short, tomboyish, and her one joy in life is volleyball. On Iruka's 17th birthday her Volleyball club is disbanded. Feeling somewhat depressed she and her friends from the club take a trip to the beach and discover Beach volleyball. Iruka cant wait to play and rushes to the court only to be told to give up being a player because of her short stature by the local Volleyball Diva. In a rage Iruka challenges her to a match to prove her abilities. It doest look like she has a chance but Iruka has a secret weapon and nobody will ever make fun of her on the beach again....well....Not about her ability to play Volleyball anyway..

I've been reading it since it's out... i have to say that the beach Volleyball + Girls in bikini has proven to work very well in the past (DOA :LOS)...

You can consider this your typical sports manga...

except that it has it's bonus :drool...
 
Well its true there's not much special about it, and that its fairly typical. Still, its enjoyable. Now that I've started it, I want to know how things turn out. To me, thats a sign that it is at least somewhat successful.

I don't see how that big breasted girl can wear a swimsuit that small and expect to play beach volleyball... course the other girls were really doing all the work.

Anyways, I'm sold for now. :)
 
"meh" in my book, nothing really stands out about it.

edit - then again its only on chapter 10, I said the same thing about the first 10 chapters of Bleach, and its vastly improved later.

Ah, cool.. Was just going to check and see if a new one came out today. It looks like every Sunday they release a new chapter.

Yeah, somewhat interesting, but I dont think it will make much difference. She gained some valuable information on the opponents, might come in handy.
