Old DCU Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (December 22, 2023)

It took me a sec to realize that was Orm. At first I thought it was Dafoe's character :lmao

This is probably Mamoa's last ride as Aquaman. Shame, because he really gave the character a magnetic presence.
 
The stealth suit looked quite nice, even if it looks like something James Wan came up in particular for this film.


It's also hard to miss the detail in the black trident being this sort of two-piece weapon that has to be set up.


Not being very knowledgeable about most of Aquaman's supporting cast, turns out that seahorse has been adapted more than once.


And there's clearly a resemblance in this, at least just in the imagery.

 
I lol'd at the black trident mention.
They really are sticking to the color scheme for Black Manta. . .

Also another legendary OP trident appearing right after the previous movie being about an OP legendary trident cheapens the first trident in my eyes.
Maybe it would feel different, if it wasn't one right after the other.

I just rationalize it as Black Manga searching the seas so hard that he came across another hidden treasure.
This type of weapon is never really unique.
 
She had threesome with Musk, didn't she?
