Anime Recommendations??

uhm. so i haven't been watching anime since september
what are some good animes you peeps can recommend for me to watch?
i prefer something with romance/school
but its okay if it isn't

Well, what do you like?

If you're anytihng like me- that you enjoy intense, dramatic, and hilarious things together- I'd suggest Elfen Lied (a ton of gore and blood), Naruto (of course), Neon Genesis Evangelion, and Love Hina.

Romance/school: Kanon, Clannad and True Tears.

And these are some you should watch because they're just so damn good:
Code Geass (mecha), Higurashi no Naku Koro ni/Kai (horror), The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (school/SoL) and Seto no Hanayome (comedy/school/romance).

Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is pretty damn new; atleast the anime adaptation. I forgot to mention this one.

And i just finished Elfen Lied and despite some of the gore, its an awesome albeit short series. You can watch all the uploads on youtube.
