A quick theory on the naruto key!

Here is my theory on when and how the key will be used!! As you people already know, Jiraiya gave instructions to the toad with the key to go to Naruto if something happened to him. From what it seems, Jiraiya is dead after his battle with Pein. Being obedient, the toad with the key with go to Naruto. While on his way to find Naruto, the toad will be told to go to Konoha by pa toad. Ma toad would be sent to Naruto by Tsunade to tell Naruto and the gang to return home. The reason why they are told to return home is simple. Pa told Tsunade about Jiraiya’s fight and the instructions given to the key toad. Upon hearing the news, Tsunade realizes Naruto must return and be given the news in a safer place!!!.


She then sends ma and pa to get Naruto and to retrieve the key toad. Once Naruto returns back to Konoha, Tsunade informs Naruto on Jiraiya’s death. Naruto realizes that the key toad is there along with ma and pa. Tsunade consults with Kakashi and Yamato and both agree Naruto needs to use the key on the seal. Some people might say Naruto will go ma and pa with the key toad to the Land of the toads to have the key used. I doubt this would happen because Naruto while there would be trained by the toads!!(many will disagree)

Naruto does not have the time and I don’t think the toads can protect Naruto from all the akatsuki. I don’t think the toads would visitors to there land. By that I mean Yamato. Only ninja with contracts can go and train there. The key has to be used in Konoha!!(sorry to destroy the dreams of naruto going Independent with the key!....many will disagree)

well, it's still possible that naruto goes training to the toad mountain.
I mean, naruto seems to be weak right now compared to some akatsuki.
Pain, tobi, kisame, zetsu, konan.
also sasuke trained 2 and a half years under orochimaru to kill Itachi and he was almost killed sasuke had no chance against Itachi, so kishimoto had to let Itachi die by "heart attack".
so now naruto will probably go to train to the mountain, he will learn a lot of jutsus like jiraiya, he will learn how to use hermit mode and he will slowly learn how to control kyuubi.
while that sasuke needs to train to, since he's as weak as ever.
and akatsuki will probably retreat for a little while since they lost half of the organization.
ad no matter how strong akatsuki is they can't defeat all konoha and all sunagakure.
wait.............................actually they can!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Btween Pain, Tobi, kisame, konan and zetsu they could defeat a whole village!!!!!!

and sunagakure is weaker than ever since gaara is no longer a JINCHURIKI.
besides pain will not only use his six bodies but he would also lead all amegakure to destroy konoha!!!!!!!!!!

I don't agree with this one. As far as I understood from the toad scroll, if naruto uses the key he'll unleash kyuubi completely. My opinion is that naruto will use the key when he is ready to fully control the kyuubi power/chakra

Why shouldn't he have time? He has the clone-style-training, he can do any training in no time. And if I remember well no one can get in the toad mountain not even with a map.. Jiraiya just stumbled on it by accident, and no one else ever before or after. So I don't see aka getting in there. It's safer than Konoha.

I can't state it as fact, but I'd assume that when Jiraya stumbled on the mountain, he didn't have any contract. They accepted him and started training him and he signed the contract while inside. So I don't see why Yamato couldn't come, especially if it's for naruto's best in calming his kyuubi when he goes berserk on the whole mountain an toads. XD

I don't necessarily go for naruto train in the toad mountain, but I was just pointing, what from your theory doesn't prove it wrong. Any kind of training is fine with me as long as it looks exciting and useful. (and not with some fodder trainer)

I am not huge fan of hermit mode! I feel it wouldn't suit naruto's character(Gambunta's good enough)However, I agree also that the key training is about the kyuubi!(well thats obvious)......yeah and a few more strong justu

Well, I'm not a fan of hermit mode either, but if naruto goes there the toads would probably teach him.........................hhhmmmmmm.............................. can you imagine???????? hermit 4 tails naruto

I doubt even with the clones naruto can learn hermit mode. Jariya was gifted with the power of the toad in a way that no one else will ever be, and it took him over 50 years to get the rudimentary version of hermit mode down. naruto's time is better spent with new jutsu and 9-tails training.

Tsunade can't do anything with the Toads. also, for Naruto to go to Toad Mountain, unless he disappears for another 12 months I don't think there is time for that.

You don't have to worry about Naruto gaining Hermit Mode. Jiraiya is a very toad themed character what with warts and such. Naruto on the other hand is a very fox themed character. While Naruto does have connections to toads, he more resembles a fox than anything, just look at his colour scheme and personality. All screams fox.

Yes Extremely true!.... people would love Naruto to go to the land of the toads! learn loads of strong Toad justu(like the J-man)...This just won't happen! If it did, he would basically be a copy of Jiraiya. You are totally right(In my opinion) Naruto resembles a fox.... and hopefully in the near future all his super super strong justus will be Kyuubi Focused!(I know FRS is not)....all thanks to the wonderful key!

I actually believe Naruto will use the key to unseal all of the Kyuubi chakra. When, who knows but i do believe its only gonna happen until he learns to control himself at 4+ tails.

You are right, after all. It takes Kishimoto's own seal for Plot no Jutsu to work
