300 Spartans Vs 2,000 Orcs (LOTR)

300 manly guys Vs 2,000 fodder Minions......

who's gonna die?

Edit: The spartans are allowed to use their winning strategy in this battle by fighting in a narrow passageway.Also it seems I overestimated the spartans strength so I downed the number of Orc's to 2,000

The Oroc's may suck but i'm sure they'll put up a better fight than the Persians.

You know, the battlefield is kinda important, otherwise the spartans simply get overpowered :sag
 
Oh my God, the Orcs annihilate the Spartans. BTW, the Spartans did not win in any fucking sense of the word at Thermopylae. They fought a heroic delaying action and got slaughtered. They LOST.

Yeah...but even though they lost they killed like 100,000 persians before they died.

The Orc's only have one tenth as many so unless they are much stronger than i thought I don't see why this is a rape thread

the Orcs will over power them, physically. The Spartans wont be able to pull off that stunt they did with the Persians.

There where around seven thousand Greeks all together that fought against the Persians in the battle of Thermopylae. Twenty thousand is around the number of Persian's killed.
 
Yeah...300 spartans fought persians and somehow managed to hold their own against HUMAN OPPONENTS.

Orcs/Urukais on the other hand...aren't they above human strength/speed/etc? Or are they also human in strength?

And one well-placed giant catapult could spell disaster for the spartans...

Actually standard orcs are subhuman in size and strength, Uruk-hais are about as strong and large as humans. In the books, at least. Movie, I dunno.

Lich King = Also a LoTR referrence. You know. Leader of the Ring Wraiths and shit? He's totally badass. Could solo White Wizard-Form Gandalf.
 
for rizzle? I thought I recalled the Lich/Witch king breaking Gandalfs staff on the pure power he held.

The Witch King of Angmar did NOT do anything of the sort to Gandalf in the novel. They encountered eachother, they both did some posturing and then the Witch King left for another part of the battle.

If you ask me the Witch King got lucky, Gandalf the White is easily the strongest being left in Middle Earth after Sauron. Sure the Witch King was being amped up by the power of Sauron at the time but even so I doubt he was on the level of one of the Maia at that point.

Also, the Wizards staffs are nowhere near as important to the Wizards power as Peter Jackson made it seem.
