2008 year of Sasuke-romance?

So Kishimoto & shonen jump said that this year is the year of Sasuke. Now that the Itachi fight has ended what will happen next to our favorite anti-hero?
Seeing as Kishimoto also said that he wanted to do romance in part 2, and there's yet to be any, do you think love lies in store for the last Uchiha?
Or will Kakashi teach Sasuke MS? Though, I doubt this seeing as Kishi said he'd write about Kakashi after 'writing mainly about Sasuke this year'. Then again kishimoto through Fugaku, Sasukes Oro speach and Madara hinted that Sasuke would become a 'hawk' so it could very well mean a training arc.
 
Hard to guess Kishimoto, but I doubt romance will be a serious part of what will happen to Sasuke in 2008. Kishimoto did say he wanted to bring a little romance into the story, but I think he's mainly thinking about Naruto. Of everyone, I see Sasuke getting with the girl at the Uchiha hideout with the ninja cats, as a sort of "end of story aside".

Let's think about it in terms of motives. What does Sasuke want to do next? The answer is go after Madara. So he's either going to seek more power, or try it immediately.

i would hope he would atleast try and figure out what madara currently looks like...

Well I was thinking more about Ino, but I guess that girl would do too.

Though Sasuke wants to kill Madara aswell he's not stupid. He was having a hard time against Itachi and now that Itachi revealed that not only is Madara stronger then him, but he also has the ultimate sharingan, I doubt he'll go after Madara right away.

So I guess he'd be training some more. What a coincedence that Kakashi has MS in part 2.

mostly because there was only two people there, one was an old women who was.. a cat/human. (if i remember correctly.)

and She called her grandmother, normally i know thats a term for older women but it seems like she actually meant it as "Grandma"

So, little things that may or may not be true. But i doubt we'll really see them again. (though i am curious as to the connection between Uchihas(crows?) and cats. (don't they eat birds?)

She called the old woman (whom Sasuke referred to as "Elder Cat") "Grandma".

Pegs her for some cat lineage, IMO.

Maybe at the very end because reviving his clan was/is his very last goal- it’s too soon to be thinking of that, so my guess is he’ll go after Madara.
 
Too bad the little romance Kishi is willing to bring in the story will be wasted on the ugly, un-sexy, stupid Naruto. :facepalm

I think Sasuke will end up alone. Being a loner fits his character well, though I wouldn't mind SasuIno or SasuKarin or SasuHina (one can dream).

Don?t you think that?s unrealistic? Not because it doesn?t fit his persona but because he plans to revive his clan (it?s part of his ambition), and we all know how determined he is when it comes to his goals.

I read somewhere that the words which were translated by "restore the clan" could mean restore the clan's honor not making Uchiha babies.

But since I don't speak Japanese, I can't argue on a translation.

If he really plans to restore his clan, he will need at least 3 wifes.

In the 'crazy Itachis face' chapter Sasuke had a flashback where he did say 'revive the clan' not 'restore the clans honor'.

A great Relationship is based on more than just looks. Naruto would have had a girlfriend by now if he wasn't so focused on Sasuke.

So Sasuke really needs to learn to be nicer toward females. Lee should teach him how to be chivalrous.
 
@ zuul: hahaha, i actually thought of that before too- the clan was huge (from what we can deduce) so Sasuke would have to spend most of his time impregnating multiple women :hehee

Anyway, I think he plans to go about it by just starting a family, and then leaving his heirs to continue the job.
 
I doubt that romance will be a major factor in Sasuke's character development. Kishimoto has only included romance because he notices fans strongly believe and support certains pairings (source is one of his interviews). Development should either consist of Sasuke decideing if he should reside with Konoha and his path to power.
 
I believe his main concern at the moment has nothing to do with romantic relations. Besides there has been no hint at being attracted to any certain member, though I suppose Sakura or Karin are the obvious choice is such a thing were to occur (which it most likely wont for quite a while).
 
Though Kishimoto said that he would like to add more romance, I believe that right now is an important part of the Uchiha storyline. At the conclusion of this battle Sasuke will most likely go after Madara. It is possible that in the conclusion there will be such a thing.
 
Romance? Sasuke? IMO not very likely. And that whole "restore my clan" jazz was before he even knew how f-ed up his whole clan was. I doubt he'd want to now.

Although if he just ignores all that, Karin i guess would be good..she wants into his pants anyway..
 
I dont know.

If that was Kishi's intention, then we would have assumed that he would have shown some attraction to Karin by now. It would be kinda stupid if he suddenly stops on the way and thinks "Damn, now that i think more about it, i guess it wasnt a coincidence that i always felt an urge to touch my genitals whenever i saw Karin/Sakura"
 
I don't think there will be much involving Sasuke romance...so far it has been Naruto/Sakura
 
Sasuke and romance just don't go well together.
I think he doesn't even know what it means
He has more important matters in his mind. :p
 
By the end of the year Sakura and Sasuke will find out that they're bringing a mini pink haired Uchiha into the world. :wtf
