Hole Depth = 18.27 meters (the tree should be about as thick as the hole diameter at the very least)
Wood Volume = 4,789.7 m^3
Wood Density = 600 kg/m^3 (Oak IIRC according to a blog GM did for Kizaru)
Water Density = 1000 kg/m^3
It varies from tree to tree but the general rule of thumb is roughly 50% of a trees mass is purely water. This is what we'll take into account that Chaos did not.
Wood Mass = 1,436,910 kilograms
Water Mass = 2,394,850 kilograms
Total Mass = 3,831,760 kilograms
Q = MCdelta(t)
Specific Heat (C) [wood] = 1,700
Delta(t) [wood] = 870 C (starting at 30 C)
Specific Heat (C) [water] = 4,181.3
Delta(t) [water] = 70 C (starting at 30 C)
Energy For Wood = 2125189900000J
Energy For Wood = 700951041350J
State change for the water, so we gotta deal with latent heat.
Latent Heat = 5412361000000J
Burn Bazooka Energy = 8,238,501,941,350 joules or 1.97 kilotons
Yay chaos numbers are to low or i dont know since the temperature for this part would be only 100?C
And this to confirm the higher Temperatures
Wood drying
If a 50% wet log is burnt at high temperature, with good heat extraction from the exhaust gas leading to a 100?C exhaust temperature, ..... but, for the normal stove, the key to burning wet wood is to burn it very hot, perhaps starting fire with dry wood.
Moisture content: The total amount of water in a biomass fuel given as a percentage of the total weight of the fuel. Wood pellets, for example, typically have up to six percent moisture content, while woodchips have 40 percent and heating oil has zero percent.
^ have some thoughts about this wood burning thing
1) if it releases energy then that means that energy would contribute to further destruction/burning of the wood that's behind the part that was hit first .. basically sustain itself (isn't that how 1 small fire can burn down forests in the first place ? ) .. meaning initial energy doesn't have to be as large as we calc it
2) can't be attributed to durability, since it's impossible for a character to tank all of it .. the volume/mass/area of wood is always >>>>>> that of characters .. he would only take the energy released from the wood that is right near him, which is tiny .. it isn't like being in a center of an explosion since the wood mass doesn't start out from 1 point (like a fireball), it's already full size from the beginning
