BISHIE REPORT DOUBLE FEATURE: DANTE/VERGIL!

That's right. Twice the hotness-triple the biting wit and drooling fangirl squeegasms. In the oft quoted words of a British Man-

So where to begin. Well, for starters, Dante is the main hero of three Devil May Cry games (1-3), playing a partially antagonistic but still integral role in the fourth. He keeps his hair down, and in its natural state. He's mouthy, and is always looking for a good fight. He's near famous for egging on his agressors. Red is his preferred color.

Vergil is best recognized for sweeping his hair back into spikes and wearing blue. Vergil is quieter and more well-mannered than his brother. Vergil spent a full game in armor as the feared knight Nelo Angelo-fighting for the dark side and against his brother, though he was not aware of his actions as he had been brainwashed. He is the main antagonist in Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening-The prequel of 1,2, and 4.

The first game features an exciting and, at the time, unique story. Dante was an amazingly attractive character and I enjoyed his various powers and skills. (I wouldn't mind seeing his other skills either *wink wink*.) The second game displayed poor writing, mediocre villains, and predictable outcomes. Still, it did bring two complete stories (Dante's and Lucretia's) and gave rise to a costume change for our intrepid little Hellspawn. DMC 3: DA came out twice, once and then again with an uber awesome special feature-playable Vergil. The third chronicled the epic battle between the two brothers. It is here that we get a good long look at Vergil's Modus Operandi. And me likey the oppressive totalitarianism!!

The fourth game neglected Vergil completely, and even hinted that the Beloved Blue Bishie Brother may in fact have died in the timeskip between 2 and 4. (Personally I reject that reality and substitute my own-Vergil's in the Bahama's getting a tan darn it!) Dante takes a backseat as hero in 4, but is still very heavy in the story. He first appears to be an enemy but is later revealed to be on the side of good-ish. You do still get to play Dante for a bit in the game, and he's more smexy than ever.

Just proves my point that time+bishies=Uber Smexyness.

The two brothers share parents (a human mother and a demon/devil father of great strength by the title Legendary Dark Knight Sparda) and therefore many of the same general abilities are present in both. They are both half demon/devil and can activate their demon sides in a "Devil Trigger." Both share extreme prowess in weaponry. Vergil prefers his katana Yamato, a gift from his father. Dante carries another of his father's swords, the Force Edge, which later evolves in "Sparda". However, Dante also uses a plethora (and yes, I know what it means) of other weapons including a pair of guns named Ebony and Ivory.

Personally these boys are just too hot to choose between. They have different personalities that, if put together, would make the perfect guy. And I love them both. But if forced to choose...ahhh...Vergil. I like blue better. And the spikes are cute.
