Real football or soccer is boring as shit. It's pretty fun to play but I can't watch more than 10 minutes of that game. I guess it's a matter of perspective.

my brother played rugby which is similar to american football and he always came home with bruises and/or broken bones.

^meh...I always here people saying that soccer tougher because American Football players get to wear pads.

But in all honest American football players are much, bigger, stronger and faster, which means the impact of hits should be much harder.

Those pads don't exactly absorb all the impact hence the injuries because a few pads aren't going to absorb the full force of a 300 pound person coming at full speed.
