Band Shirts have to be, without a doubt, one of the most ingenious, and amazingly effective forms of advertisement. There is no downside for the band, or the promoter.
You pay a band 40 dollars to advertise for them, and people are not only paying, but fighting to get these shirts. And it probably costs the company a grand total of 5 bucks per shirt. Mind you, these are t-shirts, not Hoodies or any other of this apparrel. Does anyone else agree? Pure gold. Tell me any type of advertisement that is as effective as this type of advertisement.
That being said, I have over 10 band shirts, and payed for all of 'em.
So much for avoiding the advertisers market.
