We already feel big, that's why we have the gull to destroy another individual; if we were small, we'd just sit in the corner and watch the world pass by.

We destroy each other to get higher up in 'ranks' and get the things we need, the same goes with the friends that we make and the things that we do. People kill people to strive forward, well, metaphorically speaking. We use/destroy a person to get better things in life, Lucifer's Law or whatever they call it.

In our society, people are born into privileged and not so privileged positions. "Chill, relax, take it easy, peace the fuck out" are all phrases that benefit the status quo - those already in power can enjoy it, while everyone else should just be their bitch and "chill the fuck out." Fuck you, I will chill the fuck out when they are *my* bitch or I am at least in a position not to be their bitch. Then again, considering your socio-economic background, it's not surprising that you subscribe to your bullshit philosophy. Hell, you probably think you earned your college education too.

I think you are downplaying the importance pride plays in a person's life. If you are asking someone to forgo the ego because to do so would be a good thing... I think that's wrong.

People should be confident and have ego, as long as they can back it up.

I do agree you should never fight for someone... just yourself.

I never said get rid of it. I said don't let it dominate your life. People spend entire lives trying to look big when sometimes they should just relax and go with the flow.
