My condolences go out to the Victim's family and friends. Having something tragic happen near my home is scary. I was totally shocked about the news. After learning what happen, I immediatly called my friends that attend NIU. I couldn't reach any of them. When the names were released, I read each name and where each person came from, hoping none of my friends were the victims from Grayslake Illinois. Thankfully, my friends are safe, but the names that I read was something. Those victims has friends who were closed to them. I realize they don't get to see their friend again.
My boyfriend, Jihad (member), attends DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. Since this happen here in Illinois, I'm worried about Jihad everytime he takes the train to school. This could happen to any College or University.
