It's 6:35 AM, and my favorite time of day just passed.
It's that time just before sunrise, when the sky hasn't quite turned colors yet. It's this really deep shade of blue, and there's just enough light that you can see everything clearly, but the streetlights are still on and the world is still asleep.
There's something extraordinary about that period of about ten minutes. I can always be at peace with the world, at least for that long.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, take a night to stay awake for it... or, if your schedule is that far from mine, wake up for it. Take a walk in it.
