One day my dad said, "Find someone new"
I had to tell my Jimmy we're through
(whatcha mean when ya say that ya better go find somebody new?)

Sakura stepped out of her house the next day, after swearing up and down to her father that she wasn't going to go be with Sasuke. Of course she was lying through her teeth, and she hated to do it, but it was Sasuke and she knew he couldn't possibly hurt her! So she ran down to the bridge looking around.

It was late afternoon and the sun was casting weird shadows through the leaves of the trees, mottling the path and making it patchy. She stopped at the edge of the trees, looking out at the bridge. There he was, just leaning there and looking down at the water, deep in contemplation. She stood there for a moment, just watching him. He hadn't seemed to notice her at first, but about a minute later he raised his head and looked over at her, smiling a bit.

"So you came..." was all he said. She smiled at him and nodded rapidly.

"Of course I did, Sasuke-Kun! You know how I feel about you...and now that you're showing interest I wouldn't miss this for the world!" She said honestly. He just smiled at her before holding out his hand to her. She stared at it in shock. Was he....could...could it mean...?

"Let's go have lunch." And she took his hand and walked beside him, her world finally complete. Sasuke was holding her hand!!!! She held back the urge to faint, her heart beating so hard in her chest she knew he must've heard it.

And after that day the two had been happy together, though Sakura couldn't tell anyone. In fact the two couldn't really go anywhere public at all. Everytime they went into the market place of the village, people would stop and glare at Sasuke, or yell out insults at them. So the two shyed away from the public, to avoid the slander. Sakura never did tell Sasuke that her parents had forbidden her from being with him. She didn't want him to try and leave her just so that she wouldn't get in trouble.

She was currently sitting on his futon in his room, curled up with her feet tucked up under her and his head in her lap. She ran a hand through his hair and smiled down at him. She'd learned so much about Sasuke through all this. The boy was so much more than a pretty face. He talked to her about everything as it floated through his mind. His hopes and dreams, losing his parents, the fight with Itachi...everything.

Currently he was fast asleep, comfortable with her nearby. Sakura leaned down and kissed his lips gently, so as not to wake him.

"I love you Sasuke..." She whispered, before leaning back and closing her eyes.

When she woke up, Sasuke was standing near the window, looking out. She followed his gaze and gasped. It was dark outside! Her parents were going to kill her!

She stood and went to him, hugging him tightly and kissing him.

"I'll see you tomorrow, Sasuke! I love you!" She kissed him again before running out of the Uchiha home and towards her own.

As she ran she racked her brain, trying to come up with a good excuse. But her train of thought was derailed as she ran into her father on the path. She fell to the ground, panting, and looked up at him. He looked furious.

"You were with that Uchiha boy weren't you! Sakura I told you you were forbidden! Now get home and to your room! And if I EVER hear or see you with that little traitor again I swear I'll never let you out of your room again!" He yelled. She wilted as she stood, and walked back home defeated.

Her father wasn't one for empty threats. If he said that he was going to do something he would. And that meant...She began to sob, all the way to her house and up to her room, she sobbed and cried. Just when she had landed him, now she had to break it off....!
