Aaah, that's so sad. >: The thought that she cared so much, that she got to project and do things that she couldn't do in real life sort of tugs at me.

That is sad, indeed. That she would spend time doing things in game that she couldn't in real life - that is, work towards giving presents to her kids - is pretty heart-tugging.
